All Courses take place in Yon Hall Rm. 271 unless directed otherwise during time of registration.

College of Medicine Faculty, Staff,Students and Shands Employees                                                                                        Our department offers a number of Healthcare Provider and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) courses. For your convinience we will be offering both courses at the College of Medicine through the year. You will have the opportunity to take your initial or renewal course during one of our many schedule courses throughout the month. All course will be held in the Communicore Building. Important Registration Information
Only people who have pre-registered and are on the course sign up sheet may attend class. Any person who shows up the day of class and is not on the roster will be asked to pre-register for another class! Register by phone with your credit card! If you would like to take any of our classes, call us at (352) 392-1161 ext.4283 and reserve your spot using Visa or MasterCard.

Group Rates
Group rates are available if there are a minimum of 20 students.  Off-site classes can also be coordinated.  Call (352) 392-1161 ext. 4283 for more information.

Already Certified in Wilderness First Responder?
Participants who are Wilderness First Responder certified through SOLO, WMI, or WMA make take our 2 day Wilderness First Aid course to recertify their Wilderness First Responder. Participants who successfully complete the practical and written exam will be issued a Wilderness First Responder certification through SOLO.

No Refund policy
If you need to reschedule a class you must do so 48 hours in advance. A $15 rescheduling fee will be assessed anytime after.

Cancellation Policy:

*Payment for a class must be made in full at time of registration
*Cancellation must be done at least 24 hours before the class
*Failure to cancel 48 hours in advance will result in a $15 charge to reschedule for another date.
*There will be NO refunds on missed classes

Note: Classes with fewer than 8 students enrolled may be cancelled or rescheduled at no cost to the student.
