Are you ready for a Disaster?

Throughout time mankind has been dealing with the threat of disaster. Disasters come in two forms, natural or manmade. Sometimes disasters can strike without warning. Your only defense is your ability to be prepared. The Disaster Preparedness program helps you to prepare for a disaster and devise a strategy that encompasses the necessary steps that must be taken before, during and after a disaster.

The UF CPR and Safety Training Center would like to invite all UF and Santa Fe Faculty, Staff and Students, and Community Members to their Disaster Preparedness Course.  This course prepares participants on the basic skills necessary in the case of a disaster. The course will take place on Monday, September 21, 2009 from 6pm – 10pm in Yon Hall Room 271. The cost of this course is $35.00, this cost includes participation card, materials and light refreshments.  Individuals are required to registered in advance via phone (352) 392-1161 ext. 4283 or via email at cpr-center@ufl.edu.
